Digital India - Here's why I strongly support it

Let's talk about the dream of Digital India. Sorry, it's not a dream, It's a hope. As I born and brought up in a small village, so I am still struggling to get a good internet connection. And I know the struggle throughout. Maybe after 2006 I was somewhat introduced to internet in a good manner. That too from a public cyber cafe. I had some school project related work, that needed some information from internet. Though in school we taught how to send email, but I didn't had a email id then. And I don't know how to create an email id. I just know there is yahoo and google, who provide email services. So after my work done, me and one of my friend decided to create an email id. But we didn't know how to do it. We asked the cafe operator, he tried but he also failed. After few try one of my brother finally help me made an email id, later he introduced me to orkut. That time we are not aware of facebook at all. That time I can't find anyone from my locality on those sites not even my friends. I didn't hope so. Even I didn't dream of it.
Except my little work on internet, this orkut is the thing which attracted me to the internet a lot. My visits to the public cyber cafe was gradually increasing. I introduced to so many things available in the internet. Even some pink sites. So I decided to get a internet connection at my home. But the only option at my place was dial-up internet. I didn't accept it. Later I got an GPRS enabled mobile phone. Then I started using mobile as a modem cause data cards weren't available in the market that time. I learnt to download free songs from online. So, downloading songs, orkuting, funny group mails blah blah blah was my mostly used area in the internet. Though sometime checking out some result or some educational quarries was the license of mine to use the internet. But Internet is not the only place to do all those thing or put a Big status update on social networking sites. There are so many other services. It's up to you, how you'll use it. But as on today it's a necessity.
Few days back, our friends are having an chat session, one guy's phone rang, he got an mail saying that he's selected for a job. That how our life changed with digital revolution. Just hope if the govt services also become digital, how our work will be simpler. Our wait of uncertainty will be over with a click of microseconds.
That is why I strongly support Digital India...
